Eat Fiber Loose weight

The secret to loosing weight isn’t cutting calories, but adding fiber rich foods to your diet.

Do you eat Fiber?

Most people think when it comes to weight loss you need to cut calories from your diet. This is why diets inevitably fail!

Anytime that you have to deprive or sacrifice foods you set yourself up for failure in your long term weight loss goals.

So you maybe asking yourself what does fiber have to do with weight loss, well the more fiber a food contains the fewer calories it packs.

You can actually eat more food and take in fewer calories at the same time!

The calories you consume during your day will dictate your future weight; check out this simple calorie calculator to determine your daily intake.

Fiber comes in two forms, soluble and insoluble. They act very differently in the body but both are ultimately indigestible.

Soluble fiber is more like a sponge; it absorbs moisture-providing bulk in the stomach helping you feel fuller after eating.

Good sources of soluble fiber are oatmeal, citrus fruit, barley, beans and legumes.

Insoluble fiber is harder and helps clean out your digestive tract.

Good sources of insoluble fiber are broccoli, apples, and whole grain cereal.

Most people don’t eat enough daily fiber; you should try to eat between 30 and 35 grams a day.

Not only will this help you loose weight, but it will lower your blood pressure, cholesterol level, and lower your risk of colon cancer.

If you strive to eat 30 to 35 grams of fiber a day you will end up eliminating some other foods that you would usually consume that day since eating more high fiber foods takes up a lot more space in your stomach.

The end result is you will be cutting calories out of your daily intake without any thought on your part; it just doesn’t get any easier than that.

Try to eat fiber at least 3 to six times a day!

Plus you will have more energy since high fiber foods digest slowly limiting the up and downs spikes in your blood sugar levels. This will keep your body’s fuel stable throughout the day.

Here is a list of the best sources of fiber.

Why you shouldn’t diet

Diets rarely keep the weight off long term and some can actually make you gain weight. But everywhere you turn a new one pops up promising quick weight loss.

Do you diet?

Not a day goes by that I don't search the web and see another site promising fast weight loss, or offering the same stupid advice. Things like

Loose belly fat fast

Loose 30 pounds in 30 days

Low carbohydrate diet

Only eat once a day

Just reduce 500 calories a day to loose weight

Eat less than 1200 calories a day

Flush your system

Detoxify your system

Fasting

Etc.

Diet pills, fat free food, low fat snacks, just and endless array of utter bullshit designed to get the consumer hooked on a roller coaster ride with no end in site.

Most people will be quick to try any diet or product that promises fast weight loss, even if it has taken years for them to get overweight they expect it to just disappear with very little effort on their part.

If you only have a few pounds to loose read this Why you cant loose that last few pounds

So here are the facts:

If you are overweight you are going to have to work to get in shape, there is no quick fix. Or should i say any that last!

If you take a fancy little diet pill or drink what happens when you stop? The weight will creep right back on.

You can’t eat less than 1200 calories a day and stay healthy, this is the body’s minimum requirement just to survive without and physical activity.

You simply cannot loose more than 2 to 3 pounds of fat a week safely; you might be saying well I know some one who lost 5 pounds a week?

Yes but it wasn't fat, they lost water weight and valuable muscle mass!

Diets for the most part require you to eat a certain way that includes eliminating or severely reducing a certain food group. This is not only unhealthy but also not maintainable for the long term.

Over the past 20 years I have seen more diets come and go than I can count, why is this?

Simply because they don’t stand the test of time, isn’t it funny though that 40 years ago the word diet was rarely ever heard and the majority of people weren’t overweight. So what has changed?

The quality and quantity of the food we eat, and people are doing less physical activities.

Most of the foods you buy are full of chemicals unless they are 100% organic, and a lot of these chemicals will alter your hormones causing you to gain weight.

See Not all meats is created equal

You absolutely must read the labels of the food you purchase to know what you are eating.

People have become addicted to super size meals; a lot of people will eat their daily intake of calories in one meal. This is a recipe for disaster!

As our technology becomes more advanced we keep taking away the little things in life that we use to burn calories in our everyday lives.

Imagine how many calories you would burn if you didn’t have your TV remote control and actually had to get up and walk to the TV?

More people are playing sports on a video game instead of in real life.

They are even coming out with cars that park themselves.

Today everything is becoming automated, combine that with the foods people eat and it is no wonder why we are an overweight society.

So you might be asking what is the solution?

You need to have a clear cut step-by-step plan to start with.

Step one:

Just like Dorothy stated at the beginning of the yellow brick road, a house needs a foundation before you can build the walls. A sound weight loss plan will only work if you start from the beginning.

Most people try to skip the beginning and just replace the foods they eat with diet food, what the hell is diet food?

Think about this, have you ever seen a diet tree? Diet cow? Diet plant? Diet food is nothing more than a man made chemically enhanced junk food. The majority of diet foods and drinks are actually worse for you than their regular counter parts.

Forget diets and do it the right way:

You need to know exactly how many calories that you need to consume each and every day to be at the weight you wish to obtain. This is the most important thing you can do if you are trying to loose weight, yet few people ever do.

Now I have heard a lot of people say that they don’t want to count calories, and I don’t blame you. And once you have your basic eating plan in place you wont have to.

But you must have a starting point to work from, so I have made this simple calorie chart to make this as easy as pie. (Excuse the pun LOL)

Now that you know how many calories you need to consume, you need to figure out how many you are currently consuming.

Use a daily diary to write down what and when you eat each day for a week, keep track of the calories also. Most people are in complete denial of their eating habits and when it is in black and white in front of them reality has to set in.

Step two:

When you eat is as important as what you eat. Spread you calories out over 5 to 6 meals through out your day.

By spreading you meals out when cutting calories you keep your body from going into hunger withdrawals. Plus when eating the right combination of foods you will speed up your metabolism helping you loose weight even faster.

See simple steps to speed up your metabolism

If you are currently taking in way more calories then you should then slowly reduce them each week, not all at once. This way you give your body time to adjust to taking in less food.

Step three:

A healthy diet consists of lean protein, complex carbohydrates, and good fats.

Lean protein is the building blocks of your muscle; if you don’t consume enough protein your body will go into a catabolism mode using its own muscle mass to get it. If this happens your metabolism will slow down and weight loss will come to a halt.

Your body also has to work much harder to digest protein versus carbohydrates or fats, thus speeding up your metabolism. The faster your metabolism the more weight you will loose.

Protein comes from meat, dairy, nuts, fish, and poultry.

Complex carbohydrates give you the energy you need to get through your day; your body converts carbohydrates to glucose for energy. Contrary to what most people think consuming complex carbohydrates will actually make you loose weight also.

If you eat a low carbohydrate diet your body will use your fat and protein for glucose your body’s energy source. You will have less energy and if you don’t consume enough protein this can be dangerous since your brain uses glucose for learning, memory, and motivation. See- The human brain

Carbohydrates come from fruits, vegetables, and grains like oatmeal.

Good fats:

Your body must consume good fats to be healthy, fats that are high in omega 3 fatty acids. Good fats protect your heart and joints; they also keep your skin and hair healthy

Good fats come from fish, nuts, flax seed oil, and fish oil pills.

Now to put it all together, if you are going to be exercising start with consuming 40% protein, 40% complex carbohydrates, and 20% good fats in your daily diet. Spread this out over the course of your day trying to consume protein in most of your meals.

This is just a starting point; since each and every person is different you will most likely have to adjust these percentages accordingly.

If you don’t do much physical activity you will most likely have to lower your carbohydrates and raise your protein intake.

Step 4:

You must exercise at least 3 days a week, and don’t give me that crap you don’t have time. A friend of mine once told me he worked too much to go to the gym, so I asked him if he watched TV at home and he said yes.

So I told him to exercise while watching TV, he did lost weight met a girl and got married.

I used to work 70 hours a week and went to the gym on my lunch hour. Your health is the most important thing in your life, find the time there simply is no excuse.

Your body looses muscle mass each year as you get older unless you take steps to prevent it. Stop by a senior center to see your future if you don't, it’s not a pretty site.

Your exercise goal should be to add lean muscle and cardio, both will burn more calories.

The obvious ways of doing this is going to a gym lifting weights, jogging,or playing some sport for cardio.

But maybe you don’t have the time or the dedication to follow the tradition route, there is a way you can do both without leaving your home.

There was a day when kids went to gym class and had to do the basic calisthenics, these were simple exercises that used your own body weight as resistance.

Jumping jacks
Squats
Squat thrust
Push-ups
Sit-ups
Leg raise

You can start out doing these six basic exercises keeping track of the time it takes you to do this routine, and how many repetitions you do for each one of them.

Don’t worry if you can do only a few, the goal her is to set a basic bench mark for you to beat the next week you workout.

Any time you exercise you should always look to challenge your body, if you keep doing the same thing (sets or reps and even exercises) your body will adapt and progress with come to a halt.

Every six weeks at most you should change your routine, change the type of exercise or order in which you perform them.

This is why people will spend years in the gym lifting weights only to look not much different than when they started.

They spend years doing the same routine with the same tempo.

Its called hitting a plateau and this is when most people give up on trying to loose weight or build muscle.

If you don’t know how to do these calisthenics let me know and I will tell you how?

Or if you have any questions lets here them?

What is a negative calorie diet?

A negative calorie diet consists of foods that require more energy to digest than they contain. People on these diets say they can loose from 1 to 2 pounds a day.

Why you should avoid this like the plague!

When I first hear the term negative calorie foods I asked my self could this be true, as you are probably doing so right now?

A negative calorie diet is simply consuming only foods that require your body to expend more energy (calories) to digest it, then the food offers in return.

(Example- if the food you were eating was 50 calories and your body used 150 calories to digest it you would be in a net loss of 150 calories).

Here is a list of negative calorie foods, and fruits:

Foods:

Broccoli
Cabbage
Carrot
Cauliflower
Celery
Asparagus
Cucumbers
Green beans
Garlic
Lettuce
Onion
Radish
Spinach
Turnip
Zucchini

Fruits:

Apple
Orange
Grapefruit
Cantaloupe
Blueberries
Cranberry
Lemon
Lime
Mango
Peach
Pineapple
Papaya
Raspberry
Strawberry
Tomato
Tangerine
Watermelon

The negative calorie diet is to consume many small meals over the course of the day from this list above. You will feel full, and loose weight.

Now it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that you will loose weight if you are burning more calories than you are consuming.

On the surface this seems like the greatest thing for anyone looking to loose weight, but there is an old saying. If it seems to good to be true, it usually is!

So here the catch!

In order to stay healthy your body needs to consume two main things, protein, and fats.

Without them you are simply starving yourself!

Your body needs protein every day to build and repair muscles and other body tissues. And to make hormones, and enzymes that it needs to function properly.

When you deny your body of protein it will go into survival mode (catabolism) and start using your lean muscle to keep your vital systems functioning.

Your body also needs good fats to survive (omega 3s), at least one tablespoon of fat a day to function properly. Without them your hair, skin, nails will suffer.

Other side effects you can suffer without fats in your diet are depression, fatigue, anxiety, mood swings, hypoglycemia, insulin resistance, constant and insatiable hunger, hormonal imbalance.

Your brain is made up of 2/3 fats and needs good fats (EFAs) to survive and grow; your body cannot produce this so you must consume them in your diet.

Your brains first choice for energy is glucose (carbohydrates), but if you cut them out of your diet your brain will use Ketone bodies (your bodies alternate energy system) to survive. But you must eat more protein, or fat to replace those missing carbohydrates to keep your brain healthy over the long run.

So when you hear people saying they lost all this weight real fast, they didn’t loose fat.

They lost water weight, and lean muscle for the most part. And the odds are they will put that weight back on, plus more.

You should only expect to loose up to 2 pounds a week on a proper diet, and stay healthy.

The foods in the list above are all good to enclude into a healthy diet, but not as your sole source of nutrition.

By doing so you risk damaging your long-term health!

But I'm sure you are reading this because you want to loose weight, and the only right way to do this is to eat a healthy diet and exercise.

Simple steps to speed up your metabolism

Do you ever wonder why some people can eat whatever they want and not get fat; it’s their metabolism. The faster it is, the more calories you burn.

How fast is your metabolism?

Metabolism is the amount of energy (calories) your body burns to maintain itself. While sitting, sleeping, or being active your body is constantly burning calories to keep you going.

Unfortunately each decade after the age of 40 the average person will burn 2 to 5 % less calories due to the loss of muscle mass. This translates into about a pound a year of weight gain.

The good news is you don’t have to sit back and let it happen, your destiny is truly in your hands.

So here are 4 simple steps to speed up your metabolism:

1. Eat more protein; your body uses more energy to process protein than fat, or carbohydrates. You can burn up to twice as many calories consuming protein verses the same amount of carbohydrates. By replacing just 14 % of the carbohydrates you consume with protein can translate into an extra 150 to 300 calories a day.

2. Drink teas, catechins found in oolong, and green tea will speed up your metabolism. Drink just one large cup of oolong tea and you will boost your metabolism by 10 %. One large cup of green tea will boost your metabolism by 4 %; if you drink 3 to 4 cups a day you could burn an extra 50 calories a day.

3. Drink ice cold water, your metabolism depends on water to work. But drinking 5 to 6 glasses of ice-cold water a day could help you burn an extra 10 calories a day. This may not seem like much but that’s 1 pound a year with no effort on your part.

4. Lift weights, for every 3 lbs of lean muscle you add to your body you will increase your calorie burn by 6 to 8 % that’s about 100 extra calories a day. Not to mention you will feel, and look better. You should be strength training at least 3 days a week for at least one half hour per workout.

When you diet you drop your resting metabolic rate, for ever pound you loose it drops about 5 to 10 calories a day. This is why it’s important to loose fat but gain lean muscle to keep the weight off and stay healthy in the long run.

I personally follow each and every one of these basic tips and it has served me well.

Do you incorporate any of these tips in your daily life?

If so how do they work for you?

The health benefits of drinking tea

There are four basic types of tea, green, white, black, and oolong. All four come from the same plant yet they different widely in their benefits due to processing.

Do you know the difference between them?

Most of the health benefits of tea come from consuming about 2-3 cups a day.

All four come from the same plant Camellia sinensis, yet they differ in color and flavor.

Black tea:

Oxidizing and fermenting the leaves make black tea; this darkens the tea and converts some of the healthy compounds called catechins into less potent compounds.

Catechins are an abundant strong antioxidant found in tea plants.

Black tea has been linked to reduce heart disease risk, and can help fight infection.

Black tea also has between 25-110 mg of caffeine per cup.

White Tea:

White tea isn’t fermented so it maintains its Catechin content.

White tea has antiviral, and antibacterial properties that can kill bacteria and viruses.

White tea has 15mg of caffeine making it an ideal choice if you are caffeine sensitive.

Oolong Tea:

Oolong tea is only partially fermented which preserves some of the Catechins .

Oolong tea has been said to burn more fat than green tea, by blocking carbohydrates in your system. It has also been said to lower high blood pressure.

Oolong tea has between 15 – 55 mg of caffeine per cup.

Green tea:

Green tea leaves are steamed before they are dried which prevents the breakdown of Catechins.

Green tea has also been linked to reduce heart disease risk, lower high blood pressure, and decrease risk of numerous cancers as well as weight loss.

Green tea has between 10-30 mg of caffeine per cup.

Drinking tea speeds up your metabolism and with regular consumption you can expect to loose 8 ponds per year.

All teas offer some kind of health benefits, but it would seem that oolong and green tea has the greatest health benefits per cup.

Since each and every person is different I would try one for 30 days and monitor the results you get. Then try the other and choose the one that works best for your needs.

Soda And Your Health

Most people drink it every single day, it taste great any gives you instant energy. Oh and its highly toxic and can cause metabolic syndrome and destroy your future health.

How much soda do you drink?

Do you know how much damage drinking soda, or sugared, or artificially sweetened beverages harms your body?

Metabolic syndrome is a group of symptoms that includes high levels of belly fat, blood sugar, and cholesterol.

Giving up soft drinks can be one of the best things you can do to improve your health.

Drinking a single can a day of a sugary drink translates into more than 1lb of weight gain every month.

Soda is also loaded with caffeine. High doses of caffeine can cause irritability, insomnia, high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, restlessness, tension, and other side effects.

Most people wonder why they run out of energy during the day, well if you drink soda this is one reason. Most regular sodas have around 41 grams of sugar, that’s about 18 packs of sugar that you would find in a restaurant.

Would you even consider pouring 18 packs of sugar in your mouth at once?

If that didn't get your attention the activity level of many carbonated drinks is astounding. The PH scale measures the activity of a liquid, the lower the number the higher the activity.

Water has a PH level of 7 and is considered neutral; the PH level of most sodas range between 3.4 and 2.5, battery acid has a Ph level of 1!

Your teeth can handle a PH of about 5.5 before they start to decay, the phosphoric acid in sodas causes tooth enamel erosion with minimal exposure.

I know people who have lost most of their teeth just from drinking soda ever day, and it is very costly to get them replaced. Not to mention rotting teeth wont do much for your personnel life.

Most diet sodas contain aspartame; it’s an artificial sweetener. Take a look at the nutritional information on the side of a can of soda. Notice how much sugar is in a regular soda, and then look at the diet soda can.

Aspartame is 200 times sweeter than an equal amount of sugar; there have been many studies done that people who drink diet sodas usually gain more weight over time than people who drink regular soda.

The reason for this is aspartame is what’s called an empty calorie, and when you drink empty calories your brain is tricked into thinking some food is coming to your stomach.

When those empty calories arrive your brain tells you to go get some food, this is why people who drink diet drinks usually end up overweight.

But if that isn't good enough reason to stop drinking diet soda, how about that when you consume aspartame your body will convert it to formaldehyde and formic acid.

Aspartame accounts for over 75% of the adverse reactions to food additives reported to the FDA. Some of the symptoms include:

Headaches
Dizziness
Nausea
Weight gain
Depression
Fatigue
Insomnia
Memory loss
Joint pain

Aspartame can also act as a trigger for people at risk of some serious diseases, you really have to ask yourself is the risk worth the reward?

Now I have seen some people saying well I know someone who has never had a problem drinking sodas, and this is true. The same can be said on the number one killer cigarettes.

Your diet, lifestyle, DNA all has a major role in your future health. But when you see a majority of people with problems when consuming a product shouldn't you be thinking twice?

What is your future health worth?

Your Health, Weight Loss, And MSG

MSG is hidden in thousands of supermarket foods ranging from canned soup, to salad dressing. Ingesting MSG can cause diabetes, high blood pressure, adrenal gland malfunction, seizures, excessive weight gain, stroke, heightens anxiety, saps energy, and sabotages mood.

The average American consumes 1.92 pounds of MSG each year.

Glutamate is a natural amino acid found in foods containing protein, like milk, mushrooms, and fish. Monosodium glutamate (MSG), manufactured with only the sodium salt of glutamate, is designed to be a flavor enhancer. Unfortunately, clever labeling practices serve to camouflage its presence.

See - truthinlabeling.org

Some people experience reactions and others do not. , If you are MSG sensitive some of the common symptoms are.

Headache, weakness, stomachache, tingling, flushing, visual disturbance, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, tightness of the chest, difficulty breathing, skin rash, or sensitivity to light, noise, or smells.

Vegetarians Take Note!

Soybeans naturally have one of the highest glutamate levels of any of the plant products. When you hydrolyze it, you release the glutamate, and the soy protein isolates. Then the glutamate levels are higher than you will find in MSG products

You may be asking why is it added to processed foods? It makes the cheapest and blandest foods taste great, simply meaning more sales and greater profits. Not to mention you cant sell drugs without sick people.

Now since its almost impossible to avoid, here are a few tips to help block it and undo some of the damage.

Take a daily dose of:

Magnesium 500 mg, because magnesium can block the MNDA glutamate type receptor. That's its natural function, so it significantly reduces toxicity.

Magnesium rich foods are: almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, and deep green vegetables.

Vitamin E succinate 1000 iu is powerful at inhibiting excitotoxicity, as are all of your antioxidants.

Vitamin E rich foods are: sunflower seeds, almonds, peanut butter, spinach

Vitamin B 12 1000 mcg it helps maintain a healthy brain.

Foods rich in B 12 are: Liver, egg yoke, almonds, spinach, broccoli, banana, oranges, peaches, potato, and sweet potato,

If Your Spouse Gained Weight Would It Bother You ?

A recent survey i found said that couples tend to share similar body fat levels when they meet, and are likely to stay that way over the years. If one gains weight so does the other, also the study showed that if one partner improved their habits the other may follow suit.

But here is the real problem i have seen over the years with couples and weight loss. If only one person is trying to change their eating habits and get into shape without their partner participating, it can end in a disaster.

Lets look at two different couples that i personally know and the end result when only one person is trying to eat healthy and loose weight.

Couple # 1:

When they first met they both had similar body types, both were in good shape but over the course of 2 years she gained a considerable amount of weight. The husband who was very fit gained some extra pounds also, but no where near her weight gain.

So the husband requested that she work on loosing some weight since her weight gain has now effected their sex lives. Since she could no longer wear the clothes she used to she agreed to take action and start eating right, and working out.

She started out with all the right intentions, joined a gym and started to change her eating habits. But her husband kept eating the way he became used to, a unhealthy diet. While she was eating a healthy snack her husband was munching on a bag of potato chips, with a glass of soda.

Well it wasn't long that the arguments started about him eating in front of her, keeping the unhealthy foods she craves in the house and not supporting her. After all the dust settled she went back to her unhealthy ways and gained even more weight.

But now the relationship is worse off due to all the fighting that ensued. Even though he still loves her, he is now considering cheating.

Couple # 2:

This couple were both on the chunky side when they first got married, and they both gained a considerable amount of weight with in a few years. But this time the husband never said a word, he just stopped having sex with her and started spending all his time viewing what the Internet is famous for.

Well she decided on here own that she needed to loose weight. With the help of my wife she did, and a lot of it. She started to get compliments from people at work and started feeling pretty good about her self.

Then to our surprise she announced that she had an affair and was considering getting a divorce from her husband. Wow, a total turn of events. What started out as her trying to get some attention from her husband, ended up with her taking a good look at him an deciding she wanted someone that would fit her new look.

I can tell you from being married 33 years that to have a healthy relationship a couple needs to be one the same page in all aspects of their relationship. And the number one cause for someone to cheat is they have lost sexual interest in their spouse.

So Here are a few tips so you can both live healthfully ever after.

Bond over breakfast together, study show that breakfast eaters are less likely to be over weight. This is because it is the most important meal of the day when it comes to loosing weight, and its hard to argue over the choices. Just take it easy on the bacon LOL.

Buy groceries for a shared meal that you can personalize to your own likes. When it comes to snacks slowly remove the unhealthy choices from your shopping list. It is very hard to go cold turkey in your eating habits make gradual changes to avoid fighting.

Prepare portions for dinner, slowly cut back on the amount you eat. It will save your waist line, and your pocket book. Its the extra calories that make you overweight.

Have a cheat meal day, something to look forward to do together. We Have pizza on Sundays and my wife gets her half her way, and i get mine the way i like. Pretty soon you start looking forward to this day together.

So i ask the question, would it bother you if your spouse gained weight ?

HFCS Makes You Fat

If you can't loose weight no matter what you do, take a hard look at what you have been eating. A very common additive called high fructose corn syrup ( HFCS ) that is in 70% of prepackaged foods will make loosing weight nearly impossible.

Foods that most people include in their diet thinking they are healthy can actually be secretly sabotaging your weight loss efforts. You may be surprised to see just which foods contain HFCS, sodas you would expect. But juices, candies, baked goods, cookies, syrups, soups, ketchup, breakfast cereals, granola bars, whole wheat bread, low fat yogurt, soups and pasta sauces may surprise you.

The FDA says health conscious people inadvertently consume 62 pounds of HFCS every year.

HFCS is one of the most toxic chemicals in our food supply, it significantly disrupts the function of the liver, pancreas, and organs that control weight by metabolizing fatty acids and regulating blood sugar.

The problem is in the fructose, it does not release or stimulate insulin. Insulin is a naturally occurring hormone that helps to metabolize our foods by pushing carbohydrates into our muscle cells to be used as energy, and allows carbohydrates to be stored in our liver for later use.

It also stimulates production of another hormone, leptin, which helps to regulate our storage of body fat and increases our metabolism when needed. These two hormones keep our body fat regulated and tells us, for all intent purposes, when we are satisfied and sends the message to our brain to stop eating.

Consuming even a small amount of HFCS impairs the body's ability to recognize leptin,HFCS inflames liver cells and reduces the livers ability to breakdown fat for fuel.

The Benefits Of Consuming HFCS

It makes skin sag
It raises blood pressure
It ages the liver
It can cause insulin resistance and diabetes
You are 5 times more likely to have below average memory

Benefits Of Not Consuming HFCS

Cut your high fructose corn syrup intake to near zero
Re balance your appetite
Boost your metabolism
Increase fat loss
Get more energy

High fructose corn syrup lurks in seemingly healthy places !

Always read those labels! If you find that one of the first ingredients on the label is high fructose corn syrup, look to the nutrition facts label and read how much sugar is actually in the food.

If there is 2-3 grams or less, there is less concern than those foods with higher quantities. For those products, you may want to consider other alternatives that don’t contain HFCS

Monitor products that say low fat or fat free, when the fat is removed a chemical is usually added to maintain texture and flavor making it twice as unhealthy.

Be weary of products that say natural or organic, the FDA doesn't regulate words.

If you are not sure but only products that say 100 % organic.
